Fairytales are rarely as innocent as they seem. For Pre-Spring 2027, GANNI dives into the strange beauty of Nordic storytelling, where comfort and fantasy meet darkness, and nostalgia becomes a form of escapism.
Titled Once Upon a Time, the collection captures the rituals of the colder months through a wardrobe that moves effortlessly between intimate gatherings, festive excess, and winter adventures. Dramatic occasion dresses, exaggerated volumes, lace, velvet, sequins, and puff sleeves create a playful tension between romance and rebellion, while checks, dreamlike florals, and a sharper take on the brand’s signature animal print bring a distinctly contemporary edge.
Colour cuts through the season’s darkness with flashes of icy blue, emerald green, vivid red, and deep yellow, evoking the enchanted worlds of childhood stories. Elsewhere, Sne—named after the Danish word for snow—reimagines the après-ski wardrobe through oversized knitwear and padded accessories, while the Zodiac capsule turns astrology into a bold exercise in self-expression.
Grounded by chunky boots, quilted textures, and the arrival of the new Mini Kat Bag, the collection embraces winter not as a season of retreat, but as an invitation to celebrate. In true GANNI fashion, fantasy remains practical, joy feels rebellious, and dressing up becomes an act of optimism.
